Further south, surrounding the city of Andahuaylas, are a myriad of sites. These are all mid- elevation and range from advanced cross country sites to consistent thermal soaring areas. By far the most sublime and culturally impressive is the Sondor site, where pilots launch from and soar over terraced pre Incan ruins just a couple valleys away from Macchu Picchu. |
